ABOUT THE STELLARIS APARTMENT HOTEL IN MUNICH GARCHING

The new world of work demands an increasingly mobile workforce. And in the scientific field in particular, frequent relocations are the order of the day. Our apartment hotel in Munich Garching is the perfect answer to new ways of living and working - without long-term rental commitments or expensive deposits. But there is much more to the Stellaris spirit: like the science that surrounds us, we are looking for new ways of living that go beyond convention.

More IQ per square meter is not only to be found in the living concept and the tenants of the Stellaris, most of whom work in science or business, but also in every single room of our apartment hotel near Munich. Modern and comfortable furniture makes you feel at home right from the start. The interlocking desks are small when you're not working and large when you are, with up to 1 m² of working space. There are also many clever details, such as night and desk lamps that can be adjusted and removed as needed for optimal lighting at all times. If you need even more storage space, you can rent one of our basement boxes, and valuables can be safely stored in the safe room.

Our apartment hotel is also inspired by the campus's namesake, Galileo Galilei, and his field of research, astronomy: his writings, illustrations and impressive images of the Kepler telescope adorn the inviting furnishings of the 159 apartments and common areas. The name Stellaris comes from the word “stella” for “star” – fitting for our location on the TUM research campus between the observatory and the MakerSpace.

We believe in the power of uncomplicated and collaborative interaction with our guests and within our team to create the unique feeling of not just staying somewhere but being authentically and truly “at home”. For us, a healthy living environment includes healthy food and sustainable business practices. That is why we partner with local businesses and use fresh, local ingredients for our breakfast and bar.
